Teenage boy arrested as injured woman dies outside her home

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a woman died outside her home in Warrington. 

Police launched a murder investigation following the incident on Tuesday morning after being called to the scene on Phoenix Place at around 9.40am, following reports of a ‘domestic incident.’ A 48-year-old woman had been ‘seriously assaulted’ outside her home and was pronounced dead at the scene.
