Tornado Warning Issued for Mount Olivet and Milford, Kentucky

A Tornado Warning is in effect for Mount Olivet and Milford, Kentucky, until 4:45 p.m. EDT Tuesday, as a severe thunderstorm showing radar-indicated rotation moves through the area.

The warning covers portions of Robertson and Bracken counties, including Mount Olivet, Milford and surrounding communities.

Approximately 3,032 people and two schools are within the warning area. No hail is expected, according to the National Weather Service warning graphic.

Residents in the affected area should take shelter immediately, preferably in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, away from windows.
