Explosives-Laden Drone Found Near Bogotá Airport, Colombian Military Says

Colombian authorities said they discovered and safely deactivated a drone carrying explosives near Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport and a nearby military air base. Officials reported the device contained around 258 grams of C4 explosive material and used a fiber-optic guidance system designed to evade electronic jammers. The drone was found in the Kennedy district, roughly 5.4 kilometers from the airport, prompting heightened security measures as investigators probe possible links to FARC dissident groups.
