PDS Tornado Warning Issued for Brookhaven Mississippi Area

A Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) tornado warning has been issued for Brookhaven and Bogue Chitto, Mississippi until 8:15 PM CDT.

At 7:41 PM CDT, officials confirmed a large and extremely dangerous tornado near West Lincoln, southwest of Brookhaven.

The tornado was moving east at approximately 45 mph.

Residents in the warned area are urged to take cover immediately in a sturdy structure away from windows.

The situation remains life-threatening as severe weather continues across the region.
