Pope Francis rushed to hospital after becoming too ill to read his own speeches

The Vatican has amnnounced Pope Francis has been admitted into hospital after he fell too ill to read his own speeches, it has been confirmed.
The 88-year-old took part in today’s daily audiences and was then taken to undergo diagnostic tests to continue his ongoing treatment for bronchitis in the hospital, it was confirmed in a short statement. Francis has battled health problems recently and often had to use a wheelchair.
A statement from the Holy See said: “This morning, at the end of his audiences, Pope Francis was admitted to the Policlinico Agostino Gemelli for some necessary diagnostic tests and to continue his treatment for bronchitis, which is still ongoing, in a hospital environment.”
