Uk: Horror crash in Goodmayes after police chase leaves multiple people injured, including a teenager

A serious road crash in Goodmayes, east London, has left several people injured after a car believed to be stolen was involved in a police chase before colliding with another vehicle near a Tesco Extra.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after midnight, with air ambulances and specialist paramedics deployed.

Authorities said five people remain seriously injured, including a 14-year-old, with victims aged between 14 and 46 among those hospitalised.

According to police, the suspect vehicle carried a driver in her 20s and four passengers. Officers arrested the driver on suspicion of dangerous driving, theft, and failing to stop, while the passengers were also arrested on suspicion of being in a stolen vehicle. All remain in hospital under treatment.

The crash caused major disruption in the area, with road closures and multiple emergency teams responding as investigations continue.
