UPDATE: One Seriously Injured in Shooting at Blue Grass Airport, Investigation Underway

LEXINGTON, Ky. – July 13, 2025 — A shooting at Blue Grass Airport Sunday morning left one person seriously injured.

Emergency crews responded around 11:40 a.m. to reports near 4000 Terminal Drive. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Law enforcement agencies, including Lexington Police and Kentucky State Police, are investigating the incident. While part of Terminal Drive was temporarily impacted, airport operations and flights have since resumed as normal.
