Breaking: U.S. strikes reported in Sirik, southern Iran

SIRIK, Iran — U.S. strikes have been reported in Sirik, a coastal city in Hormozgan Province in southern Iran, according to multiple reports.  

Iranian media reported explosions in and around Sirik, while U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it launched strikes in response to Iranian attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Officials said the operation targeted military infrastructure, including coastal defense and missile-related sites.  

Iranian authorities have not yet released a full assessment of casualties or damage. The situation remains fluid, and further details are expected as officials from both sides provide updates.
