Mega Millions: Florida ticket wins $800 million jackpot, largest prize of 2026

FLORIDA, United States — A single Mega Millions ticket sold in Florida won the $800 million jackpot in Tuesday night’s drawing, marking the largest lottery prize of 2026 and the 10th-largest jackpot in the game’s history.

The winning numbers were 34, 48, 49, 59, 70, with Mega Ball 12.

The winner can choose between a lump-sum cash payment of $344.2 million before taxes or receive the full jackpot through an initial payment followed by 29 annual installments. Both payout options are subject to federal taxes, and state taxes may also apply depending on where the prize is claimed.

The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on Friday at 11 p.m. ET, with the jackpot resetting to an estimated $50 million.
