Video Shows U.S. C-RAM Systems Engaging Iranian Drones Over Erbil, Iraq

Video circulating online appears to show U.S. C-RAM (Counter-Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar) air defense systems firing to intercept Iranian drones over Erbil, the capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, amid escalating regional tensions.

Security sources have reported multiple drone interceptions over Erbil in recent days, with coalition air defenses engaging explosive-laden drones targeting areas near U.S. military facilities and the U.S. Consulate. Reuters has also verified footage showing an aerial interception over the city.  

There have been no immediate reports of casualties from the latest interceptions.
