Two shot, one fatally, in S.F.’s Tenderloin

A shooting in San Francisco’s Tenderloin early Saturday killed one person and wounded another, police said.

Around 4:15 a.m., San Francisco police responded to reports of shots fired on the 400 block of Turk Street, near UC Law. Dispatchers were told that two people were shooting at each other.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds, and both were taken to a local hospital. One died there, and the other person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
