Lawrence Bishnoi aide arrested at Delhi airport after Canada deportation

A close aide of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was arrested at Delhi's IGI Airport after being deported from Canada, Punjab Police said on Tuesday.

Karamveer Singh was taken into custody by the Punjab Police's Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), with the arrest being described as a significant breakthrough in the fight against transnational organised crime.

Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said Singh had allegedly provided logistical assistance and a hideout to Anmol Bishnoi in the US.
