Major Paul Wilks, 40, Killed in Road Traffic Incident in Ukraine

Major Paul Wilks, a 40-year-old British Army officer and father of two, has been named as the UK soldier who died in a road traffic incident in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defence said Wilks died on September 12 in an incident away from the front lines.
The MoD described him as someone who “represented the finest traditions of UK Defence.”
His death was not linked to combat operations, and further details about the circumstances of the crash were not immediately released.
Tributes have been paid to Wilks following confirmation of his death.
