Denver, Colorado shooting: One Killed, one Injuredthat stemmed from verbal altercation

DENVER, Colorado — Denver police are looking for a suspect in a double shooting that killed one person and injured another early Monday morning.

Authorities posted about the shooting in the 1700 block of Federal Boulevard at 1:22 a.m.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said, while a woman was taken to the hospital with injuries. She is expected to survive.

Police said the incident “appears to have started out of a verbal argument that escalated to a shooting.” Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
