3 dead, 2 drivers charged after crash on I-66 in Fairfax

Two drivers are facing charges after a fiery Sunday crash killed three people on I-66 in Fairfax, according to Virginia State Police (VSP).

At 4:10 p.m. in the westbound I-66 Express Lanes at mile marker 64.3, a Honda Pilot rammed into the back of a truck that was stopped in the right travel lane.

The truck was carrying oxygen tanks. The Honda erupted in flames and all three people inside the car died.
