USC Football player arrested

MONCK’S CORNER, South Carolina — Monck’s Corner, S.C. (WOLO)–A USC football player was arrested in the Low Country over the weekend.

Arrest and charges

According to on-line arrest records, Caden Ramsey was arrested in Moncks Corner after he was caught racing on a public road.

Ramsey is a freshman tight end who enrolled at USC this past summer.

A spokesperson for the university athletics department released a statement which reads, “We are aware of the situation with freshman tight end Caden Ramsey and take matters like this seriously.

We reserve further comment at this time.”
