Crews make progress on Pine Ridge Reservation wildfire, now 30% contained — Rapid City, South Dakota

RAPID CITY, South Dakota — RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Crews are making progress on the Pine Ridge Reservation wildfire, which has burned more than 6,000 acres.

According to Watch Duty, the blaze is now 30% contained.

The combined Needles and Event fires are 30% contained, with the new perimeter visible on the Watch Duty map.
