Passenger Slashed on Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Train in Jersey City, Suspect Arrested

A passenger was slashed in the forehead during a fight aboard a Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train in Jersey City, New Jersey, and another man was arrested, according to NJ Transit Police.
The incident occurred while the train was stopped at Liberty State Park.
Suspect Arrested
Police said the confrontation began between two adult men aboard the train before escalating into the slashing.
The victim suffered a wound to his forehead. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening, and he declined medical treatment.
The other man was taken into custody and charged with assault and weapons possession.
NJ Transit Police are investigating the incident.
