Knoxville Fatal Crash Update: Woman Killed After Car Flips on Adair Drive

A woman was killed after her car rolled over and landed on its side in North Knoxville, Tennessee, with police providing a new update Saturday as crash reconstruction investigators work to determine what caused the deadly wreck.

Knoxville Police said officers responded to the 200 block of Adair Drive after reports of a serious crash. The woman was driving a red Infiniti and was the only person inside the vehicle.

Driver Pronounced Dead

Emergency crews found the vehicle overturned on its side, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not yet publicly identified the woman pending notification of her family.

The Knoxville Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and overturn. No additional details about the cause have been released.
