Video: North Carolina Officers Cleared After Fatally Shooting Man Carrying Fake Gun in Convenience Store

Security footage from Gastonia, North Carolina, captured the moment two police officers fatally shot a man inside a convenience store after he allegedly brandished what was later found to be a fake gun.

According to authorities, the officers believed they were facing an immediate deadly threat, prompting them to open fire. The District Attorney declined to file charges, stating that police officers are not required to risk their lives when confronted with what they reasonably perceive to be a real threat.
