Child Dies After Pennsylvania Waterpark Incident at Hersheypark

A tragic Pennsylvania waterpark incident has claimed the life of a nine-year-old child at Hersheypark. The incident occurred on Thursday at The Boardwalk, the water attraction area within the popular amusement park in Pennsylvania.

According to park officials, lifeguards noticed the child in visible distress and responded immediately. Rescue efforts were launched on the spot, followed by coordinated medical intervention.

John Lawn, CEO of Hersheypark, stated:

“From the moment that our lifeguard team recognized that a child was in distress, they performed an immediate rescue, followed by continuous, coordinated life-saving efforts by our lifeguards, on-site first responders, and medical personnel.”

Despite all efforts, the child sadly passed away. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the child, and investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.

Hersheypark, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is one of the country’s most visited family amusement destinations. The park has extended its condolences to the family and is fully cooperating with local authorities.
