One person has died, 4 others are injured after a shooting in Omaha, Neb

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A shooting in North Omaha killed one man and sent four more people to the hospital Sunday morning.

According to Omaha Police, it took place near 24th and Bonney streets around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

When police arrived on the scene after a ShotSpotter activation, they located two victims and immediately started to give medical help.

One victim, 37-year-old Brandon Jones, was taken to Nebraska medicine where he later died.

Another victim found at he scene had non-life threatening injuries.
