Tropical Storm Erin Forms Near Cabo Verde, Expected to Intensify to Major Hurricane by Saturday

Tropical Storm #Erin has formed just northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands and is tracking west at 20 mph.

The storm is forecast to reach major hurricane strength (cat. 3) by Saturday morning as the track is expected to start shifting northward.
