South Carolina: Woman charged after shooting in Waffle House parking lot

A woman was charged after a shooting in a Waffle House parking lot in South Carolina, according to police.

The Moncks Corner Police Department said it was called at 3 a.m. to the Waffle House on Highway 52 about a fight.

Police said they found one person with a gunshot wound after a fight. The victim was taken to the hospital.

Shanique Tywanda Brittain was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and pointing and presenting a firearm.
