A man is facing a misdemeanor charge after police say he flew a paraglider over a Dan + Shay concert in Noblesville and dropped small toys with parachutes onto the crowd.

Hamilton County deputies say the paraglider was flying low over Ruoff Music Center during the September 11 concert.

They also say his flight delayed a medical helicopter that was trying to land nearby.

The man has since been released from jail.

Charges and court proceedings

Deputies tracked the paraglider after he left the concert area and arrested him near Hamilton Town Center. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office notified the FAA.
