Holly Whittaker, 28, Found Dead in Nottingham After 11-Day Search

Holly Whittaker, 28, who had been missing from Nottingham for 11 days, has been found dead, police confirmed.

Holly was last seen in the Mapperley area on September 4, prompting an extensive search by Nottinghamshire Police.

A woman’s body was discovered on Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of Queen’s Road in Nottingham city centre.

Police have since formally identified the body as Holly.

Detective Chief Inspector Claire Gould said specially trained officers are supporting Holly’s family following the tragic discovery.

The circumstances surrounding her death have not yet been fully disclosed.
