Another person has died from flesh-eating bacteria, health department says

(CNN) — A fourth person has died in Florida this year after contracting bacteria that can cause a flesh-eating infection.
The Florida Health Department said the state has reported 20 cases of Vibrio vulnificus so far this year.
The most recent death was a Broward County resident between 75 and 79 years old.
People can become infected by eating raw or undercooked shellfish — especially oysters — or when the bacteria enters through an open wound.
