Minnesota man arrested in Deadwood stabbing incident, victim hospitalized in stable condition

DEADWOOD — A Minnesota man has been arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault following a stabbing incident at 2:02 a.m.

Sunday in Deadwood. Police Chief Cory Shafer said dispatch received a call reporting an altercation in the parking lot of Cadillac Jacks early Sunday morning.

At 2:06 it was noted the suspect tried to flee the scene, but was located by police in the area of Whitewood Creek at 2:12 a.m.
