Video: NYPD Officer Fires Shot During Gunpoint Carjacking in Midwood, Brooklyn

An NYPD officer fired one shot during a gunpoint carjacking investigation near Avenue O and East 15th Street in Midwood, Brooklyn, shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Police said a vehicle began moving toward the officer, prompting the officer to fire toward the approaching car.

The vehicle was not struck by the gunfire. Two people were arrested following the incident as police continued their investigation.
