Two Arrested After Fight Involving Weapons at GVSU

ALLENDALE, Michigan — Allendale, MI () – Two people have been arrested following a large fight at a Grand Valley State University living center Tuesday night.

Arrest and charges

Grand Valley police were called around 7:15 p.m. to the Holton-Hooker Living Center for a report of a fight involving weapons.

Police say the fight started outside Holton-Hooker and moved toward the Copeland and Kistler Living Centers. Bats and a knife were reportedly involved.

When officers arrived, they found one person with a laceration to the hand. That person was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Another person reported injuries to their knee and hand but declined transportation to the hospital.
