Juvenile charged with murder in relation to May shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. () — A 17-year-old is now facing murder charges in the shooting death of Joseph Ramos on Swift St. in Providence, according to a city spokesperson.

That juvenile was officially charged in Family Court in Providence on Tuesday.

Ramos, 20, died in the early morning hours of May 11 after being found on Swift St. with a gunshot wound to the head.
