One killed in Seaside shooting — McCloud of Eatonville, Washington

MCCLOUD OF EATONVILLE, Washington — Further investigation into the shooting is being conducted by the Clatsop County Major Crimes Team, led by Clatsop County Detective Ryan Humphrey.

Victims and police response

The team includes members of the Clatsop County Sheriff’s Department, District Attorney’s Office, Medical Examiner and members of Oregon State Police and the Astoria Police Department.

In July, there was another fatal shooting in Seaside. On July 8, Hayes McCloud of Eatonville, Washington was killed by police officers. On Aug.

21, a report by the Clatsop County District Attorney’s office concluded the officers were justified in the shooting. This is a breaking news story.
