Catawba County: Reported, North Carolina Shooting Under Investigation

CONOVER, North Carolina — CONOVER (WHKY) – According to published reports, a shooting earlier today (August 22) is under investigation in Catawba County.

Deputies reportedly responded to Noah Path in Conover at approximately 2:15 p.m.

Reports state that a 21-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital after being shot in the abdomen.

There was also a person who authorities were reportedly questioning in connection to the incident. No other details were available.
