BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police confirmed that one person died following a shooting during a football game at Independence High School Friday night, while the suspected shooter remains at large.
Police confirmed the fatality during a press conference as investigators continued working at the school, where a football game was underway when the shooting occurred.
