Concord Road, Texas shooting in Beaumont leaves man wounded

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont police are investigating a shooting after a man was found with gunshot wounds on Concord Road. At 8:14 p.m.

Thursday, Beaumont police officers went to the Golden Chick at 4940 Concord Rd. because someone had been shot, according to police spokesperson Rodrick Williams.

The initial investigation shows that the man who was shot was traveling in the area of Magnolia Avenue and Rivercrest Street, when a man he was feuding with saw him and started shooting at his vehicle, Williams said.

The man then fled the area, stopping at the Golden Chick, where EMS met him and took him to a local hospital for injuries that were not life threatening.
