Tornado Warning Continues for Robbins and Bennett, North Carolina Until 6:30 PM

ROBBINS, N.C. — A tornado warning continues for Robbins, Bennett and surrounding areas of central North Carolina until 6:30 p.m. EDT Friday as a rotating thunderstorm moves through the region.
The latest National Weather Service warning indicates radar-detected rotation, meaning the storm is capable of producing a tornado.
Warning Area Narrows
The latest warning area focuses on Robbins and Bennett, with approximately 10,375 people potentially exposed.
Pea-size hail is also possible with the storm.
Take Shelter Immediately
People in the warning area should move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and stay away from windows.
Residents should remain sheltered until the warning expires or officials indicate the danger has passed.
