Indiana Tornado Warning: Radar-Indicated Tornado Threatens Clinton, Fairview Park and Rosedale

A Tornado Warning is in effect for Clinton, Fairview Park, Rosedale and surrounding communities in western Indiana until 4:45 p.m. EDT Thursday.
Radar Indicates Possible Tornado
The National Weather Service issued the warning after Doppler radar detected rotation capable of producing a tornado.
Pea-sized hail, intense rainfall, dangerous lightning and strong winds are also possible.
More Than 15,000 People Inside Warning Area
Approximately 15,223 people, five schools and one hospital are located within the warned area.
Other affected communities include Universal, Bridgeton, Fontanet and Burnett.
Residents Urged to Take Shelter Immediately
Residents should immediately enter a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
Stay away from windows and protect your head from flying debris. Anyone in a mobile home or vehicle should seek shelter inside a strong building immediately.
