Update: No Arrests After Staten Island Shooting Kills Woman and Leaves Man Shot in Head

No arrests have been made after a 39-year-old woman was killed and a 27-year-old man was shot in the head at 14 Garth Court on Staten Island Thursday morning.

Deadly Shooting Reported at 11:11 A.M.

The shooting occurred at approximately 11:11 a.m. within the boundaries of the NYPD’s 122nd Precinct.

Responding officers found the 39-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her torso. She was pronounced dead following the incident.

27-Year-Old Man Shot in the Head

A 27-year-old man was also found with a gunshot wound to his head and transported for medical treatment.

Authorities have not released an update on his condition.

Victim’s Identity Has Not Been Released

The woman’s identity remains withheld pending proper notification of her family.

Investigators have not disclosed a possible motive, identified a suspect or explained whether the two victims knew each other. The fatal Garth Court shooting remains under investigation.
