Darren Anthony Robinson Added to FBI Most Wanted Fraudsters List Over Alleged $100 Million Scheme

Darren Anthony Robinson has been added to the FBI’s Most Wanted Fraudsters list over his alleged involvement in an international investment fraud and money laundering scheme connected to QYU Holdings.

FBI Alleges $100 Million Investment Scheme

The FBI alleges that Robinson founded and primarily operated QYU Holdings, which claimed to trade in commodities and the foreign currency exchange market.

Between at least 2015 and June 2023, Robinson allegedly collected an estimated $100 million from investors in the United States, Canada, Panama and other countries.

QYU Holdings Accused of Operating Ponzi-Style Scheme

Investigators allege that QYU Holdings used money from newer investors to make payments to earlier investors, cover company expenses and finance Robinson’s personal lifestyle.

Investors were allegedly told that their funds would be used for foreign currency trading.

Darren Anthony Robinson Wanted on Federal Charges

A federal arrest warrant was issued for Robinson in January 2024 by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

He faces 11 counts of wire fraud and one count of money laundering. The FBI says Robinson has ties to Panama, the United Arab Emirates and Colombia.

FBI Seeks Tips and Potential Victims

Anyone with information about Robinson’s whereabouts is urged to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a confidential tip online.

The FBI is also seeking information from people who believe they lost money through QYU Holdings or related companies. Robinson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
