Drone Sighting Forces Temporary Shutdown at Hanover Airport in Germany

A drone spotted repeatedly near Hanover-Langenhagen Airport in Germany forced authorities to temporarily suspend flight operations overnight, disrupting several passenger and cargo flights.
The runways were reportedly closed several times between 3:44 a.m. and 5:20 a.m., with all flight operations halted for a period around 4 a.m.
At least six passenger flights were delayed, while a cargo flight arriving from Paris was diverted.
Police reportedly tracked the unidentified drone for around two hours, but Federal Police detection equipment was unable to locate or identify the aircraft.
Authorities are investigating the incident, including whether the drone activity could have been deliberate.
