Strong Thunderstorms Possible Across Northern and Central Nevada With 55 MPH Winds

Isolated thunderstorms are expected across parts of Northern and Central Nevada Sunday afternoon and evening, with some storms potentially becoming strong.
According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms could develop from around 12 p.m. through 8 p.m. PDT, affecting portions of northern and central Nevada.
The main threats will be wind gusts approaching 55 mph and dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning. Heavy rainfall may also occur with thunderstorms in some locations.
