Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Chester, West Chester and Broomall, Pennsylvania
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Chester, West Chester and Broomall, Pennsylvania, until 5:30 p.m. EDT Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

The storm is capable of producing wind gusts up to 60 mph and penny-sized hail.
The warning also covers communities including Downingtown, Kennett Square, Unionville, Villanova, Paoli, Rose Tree and Chester Heights.
Approximately 640,213 people, 122 schools and 12 hospitals are within the warning area.
Residents should move indoors and stay away from windows, while drivers should be prepared for rapidly changing conditions as the severe storm moves through the area.
