Three children under 10 and woman die in ‘deliberate’ house fire

A man has been arrested after a woman and three children died in a devastating house fire during the early hours of this morning.

Police were called by the fire service to reports of a house fire at a property at 2.07am on Westbury Road, Bradford – with the woman, 29, pronounced dead at the scene. The three children – two girls aged nine and one, plus a five-year-old boy – were taken to hospital. 

Sadly all three died from the injuries they suffered in the fire. A man, 39, was arrested on suspicion of murder and was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
