An 11-year-old girl lost her life in a North Yorkshire mudslide while on a school trip.
A schoolgirl who tragically died in a shock mudslide incident has been named as Leah Harrison.
Leah, of Mount Pleasant Primary School, in Darlington, died after the tragic incident at Carlton-in-Cleveland on Wednesday. Police say the incident took place at around 1.15pm and a person died.
