Mother of 3-year-old recovering from injuries sustained in Perry Street weekend shooting

A young mother was among 12 injured in a shooting on Perry Street over the weekend. Smith, who has a 3-year-old daughter, was preparing to begin a new career as a pharmacy technician at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare this week.

The injury fractured her jaw and required several surgeries.
