Triple stabbing suspect found in trash bin

A trip to take out the trash ended with a call to 911 after Cynthia Harper found someone inside her trash bin.

“My aunt opened the lid of the trash bin, and there was a gentleman curled up in it.

She screamed, ‘it’s a dead body,’ and I instantly just started taking in details because of my corrections background,” Harper said.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said Kelcey Nicholas is a suspect in a triple stabbing that happened on Dutch Ridge Road on Sept. 23.
