Third person charged in deadly gas station shooting in Jackson, Mississippi

A third person has been arrested and charged in connection with a deadly gas station shooting that occurred in Jackson.

On Tuesday, Demonte Demetrius Edwards was arrested by the US Marshals Service and charged with murder. Edwards appeared initially on Wednesday and posted a $1 million Bond.

On September 8, two people, identified as 22-year-old Adam Edwards and 23-year-old Demyah Patterson, were arrested and charged with murder following the deadly shooting.

Edwards and Patterson were each given a $500,000 bond. The shooting occurred on September 6 at the Inland Gas Station on Terry Road.
