Stabbing sends Postville man to hospital, police investigating

Authorities in Allamakee County are investigating a stabbing that injured a 28-year-old Postville man.

According to the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office, the man called police just before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and said he needed help from a police officer.

A Postville officer responded to the location of the man, which was near the Postville Police Department.

The man had been stabbed and required medical attention, a Wednesday news release stated.
