Aviation Parkway full closure set for bridge work this weekend

Crews will remove a section of the bridge deck overhang as part of the 22nd Street Bridge Revitalization Project.

The temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to safely remove the overhang directly above Aviation Parkway, protecting both workers and the traveling public.

Message boards are out to notify drivers and detour routes can be found in the map below.

The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Crews have completed site clearing and construction is underway on the west side of the bridge.
