Prestwich man charged with attempted murder after Lancashire stabbing

A man from Prestwich has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged stabbing in Lancashire.

Emergency services attended Church Street, in Darwen, last Sunday (September 20), after reports a man in his 20s had been stabbed in the early hours of the morning.

He given first aid by the officers at the scene and was taken to hospital by ambulance. He remains in a stable condition.
